I hope you’re starting to see some signs of Spring wherever you are in the country. My front and back garden are certainly putting on a show with lots of green baby leaves popping out and our Carolina Wren families are flitting about and looking for places to make their little nests! I love this time of year.

In honor of Spring I’m adding a new collection to my mini offerings that I will be calling my “Sweet Dreams Collection”.

This collection will be added to as I go, and will feature a line of antique inspired beds, dressers, and side tables.

This sweet little bed is my first offering from this collection, and I hope you like it!

I have selected some lovely antiques linens to dress this bed. The sepia toned bedspread has been glued on for a realistic looking drape effect, and I have also added a pretty throw pillow as well as a folded blanket for the foot of the bed. They are both removable so that you can change the look of your bedroom for the seasons.

The bed frame itself is painted in antique white and features lots of shabby charm. Layers of chippy white paint and dark washes that let peeks of wood show through give it a convincingly antique look.

I’m also offering a matching bedside table to complete this little set. It features the same antique white finish and is a nice companion to the bed, making a perfect spot to rest a cup of tea and a book or perch a candlestick or a bedroom lamp.

Bed dimensions: 6 1/2 inches long, 3 1/4 inches tall, approximately 4 inches wide.

Side table dimensions: 2 inches tall, 1 1/2 inches deep, 1 3/4 inches tall.
