Rosemary Lane Cottage

Hello lovelies!

I’m so excited to introduce you to Rosemary Lane Cottage.

This lovely little abode is inspired by English gardens and shady cobbled lanes. I’ve added layers of pretty rustic textures and aged finishes to create a sweet garden inspired look.

The exterior is lime washed “stone”, with gentle aging and a bit of grubbiness added here and there for good measure. The diminutive front stoop is just big enough to display a few mossy terracotta pots of your favorite lavender or herbs, and perhaps a pair of muddy rubber boots.

This little cottage features three good sized rooms and a tiny bathroom.

I’ve scaled the bathroom to perfectly fit the Chrysnbon claw foot tub, sink, and loo… as I think it’s the sweetest little bathroom set (kit)on the market. It will not accommodate larger bathroom sets so please make a note of this when planning your decor.

The upstairs bedroom is quite generous and includes a little bump out that can act as a window seat or book or luggage nook if you so desire.

The living room offers generous proportions for furniture placement. It features one window with custom blinds, white wooden shiplap and painted wall finishes, and a charming Victorian screen door.

The kitchen features a large garden window and a normal sized front facing window that is fitted with a pretty fabric blind. This kitchen accommodates a good sized farmhouse sink and a small range on one wall, and a small table and chair set (bistro size works best!) next to the garden window.

The grey painted wooden floors throughout add a nostalgic, worn touch.

• This cottage is wooden but thankfully is quite lightweight, making it easy to move and decorate. It fits beautifully on a small dresser or side table. Turntable spinner/base kit can be found at Lowe’s! Just add a painted board and you’re all set for easy spin arounds!
